During an art therapy session, clients are encouraged to explore their inner world using a variety of art materials and techniques. While I provide prompts or suggest materials, the client maintains full control over their process.
As they create, I observe and may offer reflections or ask questions to help them better understand their process, thoughts, emotions, and behaviours. The client uses making as a tool for communication. exploration and self-reflection within the therapeutic process.
